| Crescent Moon Sighting Report: | Seventh Biblical Month / September-October 2011 |

The seventh new moon marks the beginning of Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) and the Biblical Festivals at the end of the harvest season contained within the month. This year, the seventh crescent was first reported in Australia and points throughout the southern hemisphere including portions of the United States (Arkansas, Arizona, California, etc). This marked the start of the month based on a Global Trumpet Call at sundown Wednesday evening, September 28th.
For those that keep an Israel-based sighting, the crescent was not reported until the following evening, September 29th.

Next Crescent Moon (8th Month):
The following month's crescent will be the eigth crescent and is expected to first be seen on Thursday evening, October 28th in the southern portions of Africa, South & Central America and points westward. For Israel, the crescent is not expected until the following evening, October 29th.

Biblical Festival Dates 2011:
This year, the barley harvest reported from Israel in March was not yet ripened (Abib) in time for the new moon crescent in early March. Therefore, a 13th month was added to the year. Yah's Spring Holy Days this year are now confirmed as being on the following dates in both the US and Israel (all holy days begin at sundown the evening before):
- First Day of Sacred Year (Day 1 of Month 1): April 5, 2011
- Passover (Day 14 of Month 1): April 18, 2011
- First Day of Unleavened Bread (Day 15 of Month 1): April 19, 2011
- Last Day of Unleavened Bread (Day 21 of Month 1): April 25, 2011
- Wave Sheaf Day (1st day of the week during Unleavened Bread): April 24, 2011
- Pentecost (50th Day starting with Wave Sheaf Day): June 12, 2011
The Fall Holy Days are now confirmed on the following dates (all holy days begin at sundown the evening before):
- Feast of Trumpets (Day 1 of Month 7): September 29, 2011 (U.S.), September 30, 2011 (Israel)
- Atonement (Day 10 of Month 7): October 8, 2011 (U.S.), October 9, 2011 (Israel)
- Feast of Tabernacles (Day 15 of Month 7): October 13-19, 2011 (U.S.), October 14-20 (Israel)
- Last Great Day (Day 22 of Month 7): October 20, 2011 (U.S.), October 21, 2011 (Israel)
