I’m Shawn Richardson — a systems analyst, author, and researcher. This site brings together my professional background, Biblical calendar research, writing, and the online projects I’ve built to share what I learn.
About me
My professional life has centered on solving technical problems in the financial-services industry. Outside of work, I spend a great deal of time researching Scripture, Biblical timekeeping, the Divine Name, and the history behind traditions that are often taken for granted.
I’m especially drawn to questions where careful observation, historical evidence, and technology can make a complicated subject easier to understand. That approach connects my day-to-day systems work with the websites and books I develop in my own time.

A study of how inherited calendar assumptions can shape the way people understand Biblical days, months, years, and appointed times.
The book examines observational timekeeping alongside calculated calendar systems, with particular attention to the traditional Hebrew calendar. It considers Biblical signs, historical development, calendrical accuracy, and the role of observation in determining scriptural dates.

I’ve spent about three decades working in technology within the financial industry, including systems analysis, software development, technical leadership, production support, policy-administration platforms, correspondence systems, mainframe integration, IVR, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
My education includes a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems. Today, my work continues to center on connecting business needs with practical technical solutions.
